 Our mission:

The Quinn Centre will work in partnership with you to enable you to identify and gain skills and qualifications which will enhance your working practice. The Quinn Centre will support you to identify, review and achieve your learning aims and goals.

 The aim of the charter:

This charter sets out the Quinn Centre commitment to its students. It is intended to clearly indicate the standards and levels of service you can expect from us and our expectations of you.

 What you can expect from the Quinn Centre:

• To provide appropriate and relevant training and service of the highest quality
• At all times we will respect you as an individual and your right to be given an equal opportunity to succeed
• We will help you identify your goals and choose a course which best meets your aims and takes into account your existing qualifications, skills and experience

 Pre course we will:

• Carry out an induction programme to identify your individual learning plan
• We will help you identify your learning areas and suggest ways to achieve them
• Provide clear information about the course you are about to commence
• Carry out a skills analysis and a functions skills assessment
• Wherever possible suggest a alternative contact if we are unable to meet your needs

 On course we will:

• Provide a welcoming and safe learning environment
• Provide qualified and experienced staff to support you through your learning programme
• We will help you identify your goals and work with you to ensure you achieve them
• Give you regular support, feedback and encouragement to enable you to achieve your learning aims
• Take into account your individual learning needs and provide appropriate support services where possible
• Provide a complaints and appeals procedure which is easy to follow and to understand

 We ask you to:

• Provide us with sufficient and accurate information about your learning needs
• Make a positive commitment to the programme and your identified training needs
• Let us know if you are unable to attend any part of the programme
• Evaluate the training programme and let us know promptly if we do not meet your expectations
